Do you need a referral?

A doctors referral is not required to come and see us. If, however, your local doctor has recommended an eye exam, it would be a good idea to bring a note from them so we can be sure we can assess your eyes and vision as thoroughly as possible.

Most of our clients come to see us upon the recommendation of a friend or family member whom we have previously seen. We trust that this recommendation is based on the high level of eyecare and friendly service we always do our very best to provide to each and every person we see.

We are aware that some people prefer the “fast-food” type service which some larger chain stores provide, but we trust that those coming to see us for the first time, are doing so because they liked what they heard we have provided for someone they know.

What we want for you

Our aim is always to provide the “latest and greatest” in eyecare for each and every client, and an exceptional level of service that will not be matched elsewhere.

We aim to make your visit a memorable one, not only because we tested your eyes well, but because we looked after each and every aspect of your eyecare needs.

Making the most of your time

Your time is very important to you, and that makes it important to us. We make every endeavour to run to time, and usually do. In the event we are running late, we will always keep any delay to an absolute minimum. If you do have a short delay, we would be more than happy to provide you with a cold drink or a cup of tea or coffee while you wait. You may just enjoy a cup of coffee, and a break for five minutes, during a busy day.

How do our fees compare?

For some things our fees are slightly higher than those of an average optometrist. We do not, however just provide you with average products and service! We have made it our policy to only deal in the highest quality eyecare products. Although these are invariably slightly more expensive, they always provide a more comfortable and superior visual result. Our prices for these products are very competitive.

Guarantee

All of our products and services are guaranteed with warranties covering damage, for up to two years from the time of purchase in some cases. We believe you are the sole judge of our performance. Therefore, if there is something we’ve done or failed to do, with which you are not 100% pleased, simply let us know and we will do our best to correct it immediately.

Payments

You can pay by credit card, cheque, cash or eftpos. We will always advise you of the total cost of your eyecare products and services prior to ordering them. A deposit at the time of ordering is preferred, and payment in full is required at collection.

Health Funds

The amount they refund varies from 0% to 100% depending on what you have received, and the level of cover you have with your respective health fund. If you bring your health fund details with you we can advise you of the level of benefits your fund provides. We now have facilities in practice where you can claim your health fund rebate directly through us, thereby removing the time-consuming job of attending a health fund outlet. The eye examination cost is directly bulk billed to Medicare or Veteran Affairs where appropriate.

May you invite your friends? - The short answer is YES! We would love to be able to provide our services to not only yourself, but anyone you know who you feel would benefit from the eyecare we provide. Who among your friends and family do you think would benefit from what we have to offer? If you feel that you know someone who would, we would be very happy to meet them, and pass on to them the eyecare expertise that we have shown you. Please feel free to take some business cards as a means of introduction, and a reference for your family and friends to contact us, should they feel they would benefit from our services. We are always more than happy to answer any questions that either yourself or your friends may have regarding their eyes or the services we provide. We are extremely thankful for your referrals, and assure you that we will most definitely deliver the same level of service to your family and friends that we have to you.
